Climbing Utah
Dave and Pierre went out to southern Utah (Torrey) the first week in March of
2005 to climb with friends. Our intentions were to climb the
high quality sandstone on established routes within Capitol Reef National Park
and to do some first ascents outside the park on the Forest Land surrounding
our friends house. We did just that. Six days of climbing, five old routes and a hand
full of new on the "Hootenanny Wall". The potential to new routes here is
limited only by your imagination, willingness to hike into them and the ability
to comfortably lead 5.10/5.11 Trad.
